Our mission is to foster an inspiring community of DIY and home bloggers through creating exciting project ideas, connecting bloggers to each other, and providing opportunities to grow blog traffic.
At Home DIY provides participants with DIY challenges, where they can showcase how they made or built something for the home. The challenges are not a competition but a means of sharing creativity with others, connecting with each other, and increasing blog traffic.
More About At Home DIY
At Home DIY started in 2018 with a series of holiday challenges for the home. Megan from TwoFeetFirst and Eileen from Just Measuring Up started the holiday DIY challenges as a way for bloggers to come together and increase content before the holidays. They enjoyed bringing together a community of like-minded individuals to create and share project ideas with.
The holiday challenges gave them the idea to continue the challenges all year long. And thus, At Home DIY was born. It is challenges to inspire creative work within the DIY community. With lots of talented participants and topics such as “building it cheaper than buying it” and “upcycle it”, the challenges will be incredible.
Hey there! I’m Megan and I’m the creator behind TwoFeetFirst. I love anything home-related, especially planning new home projects. My blog focuses on how I am renovating my home while staying on a budget – check out my kitchen cabinet reno.
From basic DIY projects to full home renovations to furniture builds, my goal is to inspire others to learn to makeover their outdated home into something they can LOVE! (Check out my workbook on how to makeover your home!). You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Hi, I’m Eileen, and I love all things DIY. I created Just Measuring Up along with my husband Ash. Years ago, we wanted to update our home but didn’t have the means or experience to do so. Little by little, we started chipping away at small projects. Small projects became bigger ones as both discovered our love for creating.
I love looking at spaces and figuring out how to update them while making them more efficient and prettier (check out our mudroom makeover). I also love creating crafts and home décor in my recently updated craft corner. You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
