In 2019, we had an amazing year filled with so many creative topics and even more talented DIY bloggers. Each month had its own fun topic designed to inspire bloggers, help to create innovative content, and bring together a like-minded community of DIY bloggers.
February – Build to Organize Challenge
Any DIY how-to project that helps with organization or storage (e.g., storage shelves, closet system, under-the-bed wooden storage boxes, pegboard organization, DIY cubbies, mail system, etc).

Visit your local thrift store or flea market for an item to upcycle. (e.g. old sweater into a wreath, old frame into a message board, redoing an outdated dresser).

May – Make it Pretty Outdoors Challenge
Take an eyesore in your yard and make it pretty! This could be anything from building a cute barrier for your outdoor units to building a walkway to fixing up your cement porch to giving your garage doors a makeover.

June – Build It Cheaper Than Buying It Furniture Challenge
This is a fun one! Take your favorite piece of furniture with a crazy price tag and build it for cheaper!

July – 2-Hour DIY Challenge
Lots of room for creativity here! Create any DIY project in 2 hours. This will be two hours of actual work time. Dry times don’t need to be included in the 2 hours.

August – What Can I Build with a 2×4 Challenge?
This one speaks for itself – build any kind of project with just 2x4s? Use as many or as little as you want – but no other wood other than 2x4s. Feel free to cut them to make other sizes.

September – $20 DIY Decor Challenge
Spend no more than $20 on materials and create any kind of home decor (e.g. wall hanging, decorations, signs, shelves, lamps, clocks, etc)

October – Creative Wall Challenge
Create a project involving something on your wall – from wall decor/wall art, shelves, wallpaper, a stenciled or accent wall, any kind of wall project works.

November/December – Deck the Home Holiday Challenge
